I have no interest in writing copy. The previous statement may sound completely ridiculous given my job title, but it’s true. I chose to be a writer because I want to create messages that awaken desires. I want to go beyond merely writing copy and into having a conversation with the audience. It is at that point that advertising moves beyond memory and into resonance. I hope to spend my career as a Creative Director in constant pursuit of a deeper relationship with the audience that my work reaches. If the result is kick-a** art and copy, so be it.
